The Story Behind Ata's Pets

I'm Ata — Ari, if you want my real name — and this is the story of how a lifetime of loving dogs turned into Ata's Pets.

Every dog lover remembers the first dog that stole their heart. Mine was Torsti, a German Shepherd, one of several dogs who filled my childhood home. It was there, growing up surrounded by fur, wagging tails, and quiet companionship, that my love for dogs first took root.

That love only grew with me. The day I moved into my own home, a Belgian Shepherd named Hilla came with me. A few years later, a string of Golden Retrievers filled my life with their easy warmth. Today, it's Milli, a small but spirited Biewer Terrier, keeping me company — and my daughter has since added her own dog to the family, one I'm often found holding close, quite literally, in the photo you see above.

For me, dogs aren't pets in the casual sense of the word. They're family. That's also why I simply cannot look away from cruelty — I can't watch videos of dogs in poor condition, can't shrug off mistreatment as someone else's problem. It bothers me, deeply and personally, every time.

That discomfort, carried for years, eventually became a decision: dogs — humankind's best friends — deserve better. Not just more, but better. After a long time thinking it over, Ata's Pets finally launched in spring 2026, built on one simple standard: only the best for the dogs we love.

That standard shows in what we sell. You won't find cheap, mass-produced throwaway items here — no Temu-style junk built to fall apart. Instead, every product in our store is chosen for quality: durable materials, often handmade, designed to bring years of comfort, use, and joy to the dogs — and the people — who own them.

Ata's Pets was born from a lifetime spent loving dogs — and it exists so that yours can have the best of everything, too.
